Let's make winter brighter with Hoopla for the whole family!
The new Sunday Funday Family Hoopla concept is inspired in part by our 6 yr old who is growing to love playing with hoops and in part to help fill a need for families looking for things to do with kids in winter. After a couple of super fun sessions with and for friends with families, we decided to open up our huge training space for all families to come and move, groove & have fun indoors every Sunday between 12:30-14:30 through the colder months .oO°
It's like a Sunday Social for families, mixed with a HoopDisco vibe, with hoops to play and experiment with for big and small and funky HouseMusic to help with the hip movement. Expect a colourful atmosphere, loads of fun movement and interAction. Previous experience is not required at all - you do not need to know how to hoop, you can just come and hang out and try one on if you like - similar to our interActive Playgrounds for Adults, our Public Open-airs & event HoopZones ...except taking place weekly inside the bright, warm hall of Sport Jugend Zentrum Lychi / Prenzlauerberg (near Helmholtzplaz).
These are not 'classes' with teaching and learning, the idea is to just play, move and have fun with the hoops - however we will of course still be on hand to help people get started if needed. * If you've tried a hoop before but failed, don't worry, with our specially designed HooplaHoops it's super easy for every-body to quickly learn how to move and groove. We have hoops available for everyone to use kids and adults ...you really just need to bring your hips .oO° Recommended minimum age for kids is 4 - no minimum or maximum age for adults ツ You're also welcome to bring nephews, nieces & cousins!
There are facilities and change rooms, an area to sit down and take a rest, and you can come and go as you wish. In case the kids might want a break from the movement, you're welcome to bring drinks, snacks, colouring books, etc. for them (but no screens please). * Also a good idea to bring indoor shoes or grippy socks.

Cost: €15 for 1 Parent & 1 Child • Extra parent / Extra child €5 (i.e. €20 for a family of 3 • €25 for a family of 4 • Etc.)
