Let's make winter brighter with Hoopla for the whole family!
The new Sunday Family Hoop Disco concept is inspired part by our 6 yr old who loves playing with hoops now and part due to a need for things to do with kids in winter! So we decided that it's time to open up our huge training space specifically for families to come and move, groove & have fun indoors every Sunday between 12:30-14:30 through the colder months .oO°
Previous experience is not required (!!) it's like a Sunday Social for families, with hoops to play and experiment with for big and small. There are live djs playing funky HouseMusic to help with the hip movement, a colourful atmosphere, loads of fun movement and interAction. You do not need to know how to hoop, you can just come and hang out and try one on if you like :) It is like a family version of our interActive Playgrounds for Adults, our Public Open-airs & for hire event HoopZones, but taking place inside the bright & warm hall of Sport Jugend Zentrum Lychi / Prenzlauerberg (near Helmholtzplaz).
These are not 'classes' with teaching and learning, however we will of course still be on hand to help people get started if needed. Recommended minimum age for kids is 4 - you're also welcome to bring nephews, nieces & cousins - no minimum or maximum age for adults :) FYI with our specially designed adult HooplaHoops it's super easy for every-body to quickly learn how to move and groove ...yes we provide the hoops for everyone to use kids and adults - you really just need to bring your hips ツ
There are facilities and change rooms, an area to sit down and take a rest, and you can come and go as you wish. In case the kids might want a break from the movement, you're welcome to bring drinks, snacks, colouring books, etc. for them (but no screens please). * Also a good idea to bring indoor shoes or grippy socks.
